Abstract

The role of Islamic youth in Makamhaji village can be known as The Young Mudi Islam Activity (AMMI). This youth organization develops non-formal Islamic education in society with its various roles and contributions. The purpose of this study is to describe and find out the role of Young Mudi Islam Activities in the development of non-formal Islamic education in Makamhaji Village 2016-2021. And to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of non-formal Islamic education carried out by the Young Mudi Islam Activity in Makamhaji village. This research uses qualitative methods with a historical approach.Data collected by observation techniques, interviews and documentation with the relevant sources. The results of the study show that there are many roles and contributions of youth that have been given to the community in Makamhaji village. This contribution made the community, especially youth, participate in the series of Islamic activities carried out. These Islamic activities make people aware of the importance of non-formal Islamic education. Keywords: Role, Islamic Youth, Non-Formal Islamic Education
