Abstract

Learning Indonesian cannot be separated from textbooks or teaching materials. So the selection of teaching materials must be adapted to the needs of students, contain sources of information, and of course in accordance with the lesson plan. The purpose of this study was to describe the selection of material content, organizing material, presenting material, and sharpening (repetition) negotiating text material in Indonesian language learning class X. The research method in this study used a qualitative approach. The type of qualitative research applied is library research. The results showed that the teaching materials for intelligent Indonesian language and literature for class X SMA/SMK were appropriate based on the theory of analysis of teaching materials as follows: (1) selection or selection of material according to basic competence (KD); (2) the grouping of material is appropriate from easy material to difficult material; (3) the presentation of the material is interesting, not only showing examples of negotiation tests but also providing links as a source of supporting information; and (4) the repetition or sharpening of the material that has been studied is included in the evaluation in each material subchapter which includes 4 language skills. So it can be concluded that through Mackey's theory the teaching materials that have been analyzed will show the feasibility of these teaching materials used in learning. The selection of teaching materials is very important because teaching materials are an important component in the success and learning achievement of students. The graphical aspects of the components assessed are book cover design, book content and book design. Keywords: Review; Teaching Materials; Negotiating Text;
