Abstract

This study aims to knowing the influence of drum band extracurriculars on the development of the disciplined and persistent charater of marching bad participant, especially at SDN Klagen 1, SDN Klagen 3, and MI Mambaul Huda. This research uses quantitative methods. In this case, the type of quantitative method used is descriptive quatitative method. In this study, the researcher distributed a questionnaire to the sample, namely the upper class students in the 3 elementary schools. After distributing the questionnaire, the researcher conducted an inductive statistical test. In this study, the test used is a simple linear regression test, pearson correlation and determination. The results showed that the drumben extracurricular had an influence on the development of disciplined and persistent characters in the 3 elementary schools. In this study, from the results of a simple linear regression test and Pearson correlation obtained a significant value. Then, from the results of the determination test of the SD/ MI student budget in the Barat sub-district, Magetan, an R2 value of 0.786 was obtained and a value of 0.718 for persistent character. Then to display the influence at SDN Klagen 1 that is equal to 0.581 for the character of discipline and a value of 0.658 for the persistent character. Then, to present the magnitude of the drumben extracurricular influence at SDN Klagen 3, it is 0.664 for the character of discipline and a value of 0.667 for the character of persistence. Finally, the percentage of influence in MI Mambaul Huda is 0.757 and a value of 0.854 for persistent character.
