Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of paying attention to every process in memorizing the Qur'an. The process can be used as an evaluation so that there is an improvement in the quality of memorization. To improve the quality, it is necessary to know the factors that support and indicators in good memorization quality. The talaqqi method is a method applied in memorizing the Qur'an at Islamic Elementary School Cahaya Hati. With the talaqqi method, children are able to memorize the Qur'an according to the teacher's example. However, when repeating memorization independently, children's memorization has different qualities. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this study is how the talaqqi method improves the quality of memorization in children. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the talaqqi method in improving the quality of memorization in children. This type of research is field research, with a case study approach. The method used is qualitative, and the data collection methods used are interviews, observation, documentation. The results of this study indicate that there are factors in the application of the talaqqi method in improving the quality of memorization. These factors come from the teacher, the child and when evaluating memorization. In addition, the obstacle factor is important to know in improving the quality of memorization..
