Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between psychological well-being and social support perception with employee job satisfaction throughout RRI Surakarta, to test the effective contribution of each independent variable and to test the effective contribution of each aspect of each independent variable. The research method uses correlational quantitative, the research sample is 134 employees. The data collection tool uses a closed questionnaire. The sampling technique used is population study. The criteria have been determined by the researcher, namely all RRI Surakarta employees. Data analysis used multiple linear regression techniques. Based on the results of the study, there was a very significant positive relationship between psychological well-being and social support with employee job satisfaction with a value of R = 0.395 and a sig value of 0.000 (P <0.001). There is a very significant positive relationship between psychological well-being and employee job satisfaction with a value of rxy = 0.362 and a sig value of 0.000 (P <0.001). There is a significant positive relationship between social support and employee job satisfaction with a value of rxy = 0.247 and a sig value of 0.000 (P< 0.001). From these results it can be said that there is a relationship between psychological well-being and social support with employee job satisfaction. The results of the effective contribution of each independent variable, namely psychological well-being on employee job satisfaction, provide SE of 12% and social support for employee job satisfaction provides SE of 4%. The results of the effective contribution of each aspect to the psychological well-being variable which gave the highest SE in the aspect of positive relations with other people, while the social support variable which gave the highest SE to the social network aspect.
