Abstract

Dementia is one of the disorders that commonly occur in the elderly due to the decline in biological and psychological functions. Dementia examination can be performed using various techniques, one of which is the MMSE technique. The MMSE technique is a widely used screening assessment technique to classify the level of cognitive function, including at the cognitive level of dementia. Recording the results of dementia examinations is still done manually, creating inefficiency in data management. The use of the internet in the digital era is a form of optimization of existing technology, including designing a system that can support and simplify human activities. This study aims to develop a system used for recording the results of dementia tests and helping in data management. The method used in designing the system is the Waterfall method. The method used to obtain data is qualitative by conducting literature studies and interviews. System testing was conducted using the BlackBox method and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). UAT testing was carried out through interviews with neurologists. The result of this study is a web-based application for recording dementia examination results using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) technique, which can help facilitate effective and easy data management processes.
