Abstract

Enrollment of new students online is very important, especially during this pandemic. At this school, registration of new students is still done manually, even thoughthe school does not yet have a website, including the registration of new students. This makes the service slow and takes a long time. From the existing problems, the researchers took the initiative to conduct research to build and develop a school information system by applying the waterfall method to improve services which so far are still slow in processing registration data. Using the waterfall method. the system was built using the PHP programming language version 7 using the Laravel version 8 framework and using the MySql database and testing using blackbox testing and (System Usability Scale) SUS. The results of this study indicate that this system is able to manage the process of new student admissions in SMP N 1 Cikarang Utara
