Abstract

The background of this research is that there is a potential in humans, as a dominant element that is very influential in human life in carrying out their duties and positions as' Abdullah and Khalifatullah on this earth. This potential is simply called fitrah. In accordance with this nature, Allah created humans who are equipped with religious instincts, namely the religion of tauhid (Islam). Islam is the only religion that is blessed by Allah SWT. If there is someone who does not have a religion or denies the existence of Allah, it means that he is denying his nature or instinct, which is then called the fitrah of tawhid. The purpose of this study is to describe the cultivation of tauhid in the formation of Muslim personality of students at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta, to describe what methods are used in cultivating monotheistic education in shaping the personality of Muslim students at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta, describing the supporting and inhibiting factors for the cultivation of tauhid education in personality formation. Muslim students at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. This type of research is in the form of field research with qualitative descriptive analysis, and uses a phenomenological approach. Data collection methods by interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that first: the cultivation of monotheistic education carried out by this school is to instill monotheistic education by fostering strong Islamic characters in its students. Fostering faith, worship and noble character is always carried out by schools for students. Second: the method or strategy of cultivating monotheistic education in shaping the Muslim personality of students at SMK Batik I Surakarta, namely through Islamic education learning, habituation, guidance, advice, exemplary and motivation. Third: supporting factors in the process of cultivating tauhid education in shaping the personality of Muslim students at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta; Completeness of facilities and infrastructure, student religiosity level, family, school, Islamic education learning, economics. Inhibiting factors in the process of cultivating tauhid education in shaping the personality of Muslim students at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta, namely; Limited time for Islamic education lessons, lack of support from family, lack of awareness of students in studying religion, internal family problems, economic factors of poor families / families (material), factor of means (technology) Keywords: planting; monotheistic education; personality
