Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the types and forms of illocutionary speech acts in the social media Instagram @beritasolo.id, and to present these expressions in learning Indonesian. A qualitative descriptive method was used in this study, with the data analysis technique agih method is the basic technique: the technique for direct elements. The source of this research data is the news on the Instagram account @beritasolo.id. This research resulted in the types and forms of illocutionary speech acts contained in Instagram @beritasolo.id including directive speech acts and expressive speech acts. Directive speech acts give suggestions, command directives, and prohibition directives. The expressive speech acts found were expressive of apology, expressive of thanking, expressive of praising, expressive of satire, expressive of congratulating. With declarative forms, interrogative forms, and imperative forms. The implication of illocutionary speech acts in learning Indonesian is in learning advertisement text for grade VIII odd semester junior high school stages.
