Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the impact of online marketing using e-commerce on clothing businessmen in Ceper and Pedan Klaten sub-districts on increasing sales volume; (2) the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs when using e-commerce in their efforts to increase sales volume; (3) the strategy used in online marketing uses e-commerce. This type of research is qualitative with a case study design. Data collection techniques in this study through observation and interviews. The subjects in this study were 5 clothing manufacturers in the Districts of Ceper and Pedan Klaten. The object of this study is the impact of online marketing using e-commerce in increasing sales volume. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation of sources and techniques. Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques in this study collect data, reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that (1) the positive impact of wider market reach, increased customers from various regions, and product labels are known to many people (2) Meanwhile, the negative impact of e-commerce based sales is the high cost of selling in e-commerce (3) Difficulties faced by business owners when using e-commerce in this convection business, including a lack of understanding of digital marketing or e-commerce in the operation of using online shops, poor time management to focus on increasing online sales, cost calculations, prices, and marketing has not appropriate (4) Strategies so that online marketing with e-commerce continues to run well among the many competitors of similar products, including maintaining prices, quality, providing price discounts, shipping costs to customers, having to think critically, and be innovative.
