Abstract
Adolescent morals are behaviors that are reflected in the daily lives of adolescents which are formed from moral education received, namely morals to God in the form of the application of worship and morals to fellow human beings, namely good deeds, parents are one of the external factors that can influence morals, the role of parents has a contribution which is very large in the formation of adolescent morals because children's daily lives with their parents after the school environment. This type of research is field research with a qualitative phenomenological approach, the data source consists of primary data obtained through observation and direct interviews with 5 parents who have teenagers aged 16-21 years, living together and domiciled in Sewawar Hamlet Rt 005 Rw 001, Head Rt 005 Sewawar Hamlet and Head of Legokgunung Village, then secondary data obtained from observations and documentation. The data collection method used in this research is the observation method, the interview method and the documentation method. Data analysis uses three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role of parents in educating includes first modeling which makes itself a good role model so that children imitate what is exemplified, second mentoring is giving affection so that trust and openness arises between children and parents making it easier for parents to understand children , the third is organizing, namely controlling the development of children so that children remain under supervision, and finally, the fourth, teaching, namely the role of inviting, and teaching the values and principles of life with the aim that children are able to get used to it in life.
