Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the number of female civil servants, the human development index, the number of health centers, the number of hospitals and the morbidity rate on the gender development index in the Pati residency in 2019- 2021. The analytical tool used is panel data regression. Panel data is a combination of cross section and time series. The cross section data covers six regencies in the Pati residency, while the time-series data is from 2017-2021. Research data includes the number of female civil servants, human development index, number of health centers, number of hospitals, morbidity rate and gender development index obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Central Java Health Office. The results showed that of the five independent variables, only the human development index had a positive and significant effect on the gender development index. While the variables of the number of civil servants, the number of hospitals, the number of public health centers and the morbidity rate have no significant effect on the gender development index. The results of the F test show that the model exists. The coefficient of determination 〖(R〗^2) is 0.9965 means that 99.65% of the variation in the Gender Development Index variable can be explained by the variables of female civil servants, human development index, the number of health centers, the number of hospitals, and the morbidity rate. The remaining 0.35% is explained by other independent variables not included in the model.
