Abstract

Land use change is a change in the way land is used for commercial or industrial purposes. One of the factors that often causes changes in land use in an area is population growth followed by settlement growth. There is an increase in population growth and an increase in demand for housing needs which from year to year continues to increase, causing a decrease in rice fields used as weapons. A decrease in rice fields will have an impact on food needs. This study aims to determine 1) the distribution of changes in the use of paddy fields into built-up land in Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency in 2016 and 2022, 2) analyze food productivity in Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency in 2016 and 2022, 3) analyze the level of rice productivity in Grogol District Sukoharjo Regency in 2016 – 2022. The method used is Descriptive Quantitative Analysis. Analysis using descriptive qualitative describes and describes land use change maps for 2016 and land use maps for 2022 using the overlay technique. The results of this study indicate that changes in land use that occurred in 2016 and 2022 were changes in the increase in the number of suppliers by 36.6 ha, the decrease in rice field irrigation by 94.18 and the increase in the number of industrial buildings by 57.58 ha. The harvested area and rice production per village in the Grogol sub-district in 2016 - 2019 has increased for lowland rice production in the Grogol sub-district by 497 tonnes over a period of 6 years. paddy fields in Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency, Based on the linkage of changes in land use to rice productivity in the Grogol sub-district, there has been an increase in the number of built-up areas and a reduction in the area of rice fields that experienced the most significant changes occurred in Cemani village with a change of 403 ha, while the areas that experienced the most significant changes a little bit happened in Gedangan village with a change of 50 ha, from the results of its overall productivity level from 2016 - 2022 there was an increase in the amount of accumulated productivity, however in 2017 - 2018 an increase was obtained of 24,123 tons / ha and in the following year it decreased by 17,520 tons /ha .
