Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and Subjective Well Being in former commercial sex workers. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were former commercial sex workers who received benefits at the Wanodyama Women's Social Service Center, totaling 37 people. The data collection tool used in this study was a body image scale questionnaire and subjective well being. The analysis technique in this study uses product moment correlation. The results of the hypothesis in this study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between body image and subjective well-being in former commercial sex workers with a value of R = 0.816. Then body image with subjective well being with a value of r = 0.666; which means that there is a positive and significant relationship between body image and subjective well being of former commercial sex workers. The contribution of body image to subjective well being is 66.6%. The remaining 33.4% is influenced by other variables. The research data has a value of 0.000, which means <0.05, it is stated that there is a significant relationship between body image and subjective well being, meaning that if the body image is high, the subjective well being also increases but vice versa if the body image has a low value, it means subjective his well being is also low. The tests carried out in this study explained that the researcher's hypothesis was acceptable. The implication of this research is that former commercial sex workers consider body image as something important in order to feel satisfied and happy (subjectively prosperous).
