Abstract

Changes in land use can lead to narrower and more limited vacant land. The purpose of this study is to analyze land use changes that have occurred in the study area between 2010 and 2020, as well as the dominant factors influencing land use changes in Madiun City. In this study using the method used is survey. The sampling method used is random sampling. The analysis used is secondary data analysis. Based on the results of the study, namely changes in land use in the City of Madiun experienced significant changes, but the highest changes in land use in the City of Madiun were residential land use with an area of change of 57.84 Ha. Land use that has changed in Madiun City includes settlements, educational facilities, government facilities, trade and services, industry, warehousing, reservoirs, vacant land, sports facilities, green belts, roads, private offices, cemeteries, and urban infrastructure. Land use that has not changed, namely health facilities, transportation facilities, tourism, land and security, road islands, railroad borders, river borders, rivers, and parks. The dominant factors influencing changes in land use in the City of Madiun in 2010 and 2020 include population density, where the population density in the City of Madiun is 17476 people/km2, rejuvenation of the city center Rejuvenation of the city center of Madiun is influenced by changes in land use trade and services, industry , warehouses, and private offices. Expansion of infrastructure networks and community infrastructure facilities. Accessibility to activity centers and city centers as well as links between cities. Accessibility to activity centers and city centers as well as connecting between cities in Madiun City is influenced by changes in road land use and the construction of the Solo-Ngawi-Kertosono toll road, sports facilities, green lines, cemeteries, and urban infrastructure.
