Abstract
Divorce is a serious problem for the family, divorce can occur due to very common factors in the community. Moreover, the added of the Pandemi Covid-19 that hit the world, especially Indonesia, which resulted in a divorce rate to increase. This is the background for conducting research conducted at the Sukoharjo Religious Court. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of divorce that occurs in the Sukoharjo Religious Court and what is the factor causing divorce using the normative approach method and the type of research is field research, with primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The results showed that the divorce rate that occurred in the Sukoharjo Religious Court had decreased if, compared to the districts of Klaten and Sragen which experienced an increase in divorce rates. This happened because the Sukoharjo Religious Court was mediation. The factors causing divorce that occurred in Sukoharjo Courts were dominated by disputes and quarrels continue to take care. And because of the factors leaving one of the parties.
