Abstract

In this thesis, the author tries to decipher the meaning of the wisdom diction contained in several surahs in the Qur'an by means of Buya Hamka's interpretation. The method used in compiling this research is to use the Library Research method. The results of this study can be concluded that there are various kinds of wisdom. The meaning of Wisdom can be understood as an understanding for human life from a situation or event of a matter that creates problems which results in the recipient of the case obtaining explicit or implied knowledge, wisdom, and Prophethood.
