Abstract

This research on Web-Based Analysis of Tourism Potential in Sleman Regency 2023 was made because Featured Tourism in Sleman Regency still lacks information related to promotion in a Geographic Information System-based web system. This study aims to determine the internal potential and external potential of each tourist attraction and to determine the development of a web system based on Geographic Information Systems. This research method uses field observation methods or direct observation at the research location. The results of this study indicate that Leading Tourism in Sleman Regency consists of two classifications of the combined potential of tourist attractions, namely consisting of medium potential owned by the tourist attractions of Candi Keraton Ratu Boko, Taman Tebing Breksi, Lava Tour Merapi, Museum Gunungapi Merapi and Sindu Kusuma Edupark, while high potential is owned by Candi Prambanan, Kaliurang and Monumen Jogja Kembali. The web-based Geographic Information System presents a digital map that shows the distribution points of tourist attraction locations and displays information related to the potential of tourist attractions, distances and routes to tourist attraction locations.
