Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic affects various aspects of life, including education, and causes fear that has a psychological impact. One of them is subjective well-being. One of the predictors of subjective well-being is social support. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see the relationship between social support and subjective well-being in students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects of Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen High School were 79 students. Purposive sampling technique with the characteristics of class XII students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen, Willing to be Respondents and Be at the research location when the research is carried out. The method used is the quantitative method. This study used a social support scale and a subjective well-being scale which was then compiled into a questionnaire with a likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study uses product moment correlation. The results showed a Sig value (1-tailed) of 0.000 (p < 0.05) which can be interpreted as a significant positive relationship between Social Support and Subjective Well Being. The effective contribution shows R Square of 0.503 meaning that the influence of free variables on bound variables in this study is 50.3% the remaining 49.7% is influenced by variables outside the study. The social support variable has a RE > RH with (RE) of 28.9873 and (RH) of 24, Then the Subjective Well Being variable has a RE > RH with a result (RE) of 24.6835 and (RH) of 21, which means that the level of Subjective Well Being is relatively high. Conclusion there is a positive and significant influence of social support with subjective well-being on students during the covid-19 pandemic. The implications in this study are that the higher the social support, the higher the subjective well-being in students.
