Abstract
The city of Salatiga has 20 coffee shops. Sidomukti Regency, which has more coffee enthusiasts and needs than other districts, has more coffee shops than other districts in this city. However, coffee-producing areas range from Boy-yolali to Semarang. in an equally bustling neighborhood and downtown. So it is necessary to take concrete steps to map the location of coffee shops, such as using a geographic information system with buffering or spatial analysis methods such as ArcGIS to map coffee shop locations, which will make it easier for people to see and find information. anywhere. Where is that coffee shop. Therefore, this study aims to investigate spatial interactions in coffee shops in Salatiga City. Research Methods Primary data from surveys and interviews, but secondary data from GPS & GIS documentation. The results showed that salatiga as the largest supplier of coffee beans was around 27,500 grams, with a cost of Rp. 1,787,500, because Salatiga is a coffeeproducing place and is the closest to the supply of coffee beans. Compared to Boyolali Rp. 1,218,750, East Nusa Tenggara Rp. 1,004,250, Aceh Rp. 637,000, Bali Rp. 325,000, and the South Sulawesi region Rp. 163,000. So it can be seen that there is a strong interaction between the city of Salatiga and the city of Semarang which has an interaction strength of 310,750.78. This study shows the interaction of coffee enthusiasts in the strong category in the city of Salatiga.
