Abstract

This research is motivated by an effort to improve the quality of education by developing the curriculum and the quality of school education gradually with the implementation of the full day school program based on the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 23 of 2017 concerning School Days. However, in this study, researchers focused on its effect on the success of Islamic religious education learning with the research title "The Effectiveness of the Full Day School Program on Islamic Religious Education Subject Learning Outcomes of Grade 8 SMP Negeri 2 Kerjo Karanganyar Regency". This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the full day school program on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education subjects in grade 8 SMP N 2 Kerjo Kab. Karanganyar. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods with the type of field research (Field Research) by distributing questionnaires and documentation. As for data analysis techniques include data instrument test, classical assumption test, simple linear regression test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the results of the regression test that has been carried out can be seen that the t value for the full day school variable is 10.969 while the t table value is known through the t value distribution table with a significance of 5%, which is 1.983. Thus it can be seen that the value of t count> t table (10.969>1.983). The conclusion is that the H0 hypothesis is rejected and the H1 hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence between full day school on the success of Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 2 Kerjo Karanganyar Regency. (2) The results of the coefficient of determination test that have been carried out previously can be seen that the R Square value is 0.551. The value of 0.551 is then multiplied by 100%, the result is 55.1%. Thus it can be concluded that full day school has an influence of 55.1% on the success of PAI learning and the remaining 44.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
