Abstract
Indonesia's technological developments have reached the industrial revolution 4.0, where this revolution has encouraged companies in the manufacturing industry to take part in the development and implementation of system is utomation and data exchange. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a process of technological development which in its implementation implements an automatic operating system. PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (PT TMMIN) is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation (TAM) and is a multinational company that focuses on the automotive sector with business lines from production to export of vehicles, engines and components. At PT TMMIN, the manufacturing process has implemented an automatic system so that vehicle production becomes more efficient. To support this line of business, it requires the application of industrial technology 4.0. In addition, there is also a need for competent human resources so that they can achieve company targets. The Toyota Indonesia Community Academy (AKTI) is a vocational education center for human resource development, especially in the manufacturing sector, as well as the basis for transferring technology and knowledge at PT TMMIN. One of the transfer of technology and knowledge is the design of a storage table system simulator. The design of this storage table system is intended for practicum media as an operator and control system. In addition, there are RFID systems, pneumatic systems, mini belt conveyors, programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), and several sensors that can be studied.
