Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an active learning atmosphere and learning process for students to be able to develop their potential. The existence of educational facilities aims to educate the life of the nation as written in the opening of the 1945 Constitution. Madiun Regency is still focusing on school development in some sub-districts, such as Mejayan and Geger sub-districts. With schools still centered in cities, it is necessary to study patterns and accessibility of available educational facilities. This study aims to (1) analyze the pattern of distribution of SMA and SMK in Madiun Regency (2) analyze the accessibility of SMA and SMK in Madiun Regency. This study uses a survey method supported by secondary data. The data analysis method is Nearest Neighbor Analysis and 2SFCA for Accessibility. The result of the study is that the pattern of distribution of SMA and SMK in Madiun Regency is clustered The accessibility of SMA and SMK produces four index classes with ranges of values 0,598595 – 7,951666.
