Abstract
Blora Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java which is an area that has the potential to experience drought. Most of the area of Blora Regency is a solutional landform (karst) which is characterized by a dry and arid soil surface, and groundwater conditions that are far below the soil surface. Based on data from BPBD Blora Regency, there are 171 villages in 14 sub-districts that have applied for clean water assistance. The potential for drought disaster is very important to identify in order to reduce the impact it causes and to be able to serve as a reference material for prioritizing the development of facilities and infrastructure for drought management. The aims of this research are: (1) to make a map of the distribution of areas that have the potential for hydrological drought in the Districts of Blora, Bogorejo, and Jepon, Blora Regency; (2) analyzing the area and distribution of areas that have the potential for hydrological drought in Blora, Bogorejo and Jepon Districts, Blora Regency. This study uses a Geographic Information System (GIS) as a tool to process and produce information on potential hydrological drought. The method used is a tiered quantitative approach (scoring). The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. The parameters used in this study are land form, rainfall, groundwater depth, land use, soil infiltration, and slope. The distribution of hydrological drought potential in Blora District has the highest drought potential in Kamolan Village with an area of 0.51 Km2 or 11.89% compared to 27 other villages in Blora City District. In Bogorejo District, Jiworejo Village has an area of 0.15 km2 or 4.37%, compared to 13 other villages in Bogorejo District. Jepon District has the highest drought potential in Semanggi Village with an area of 14.23 Km2 or 37.51% compared to 23 other villages in Jepon District.
