Abstract

Land is one of the objects of natural resources which includes the biosphere, atmosphere, soil, geological layers, hydrology which plays an important role for human life supported by the existence of land, with the existence of land besides being used as a place to live it can also be a place to increase the economy. Thus land depends on humans to utilize the available land. Changes in land use often occur in several areas, in this study examining land use in Wonosari District, Klaten Regency, which is directly adjacent to Sukoharjo Regency and Boyolali Regency. Changes in land use in Wonosari District are currently experiencing a process of changing land use which was previously used as agricultural land and has now turned into residential or non-agricultural areas and the presence of an economic sector. As for this, this study aims to (1) Analyze the distribution of land use change in Wonosari District, Klaten Regency in 2015 and 2021 (2) Analyze the pattern of distribution of land use change in Wonosari District, Klaten Regency in 2015 and 2021 (3) Analyze the direction of change in use land in Wonosari District, Klaten Regency. The method used in this study is a visual interpretation method of remote sensing images supplemented by a survey. Sampling using purposive sampling method. Analysis of land use change was carried out by utilizing GIS technology, namely the Overlay between the 2015 land use map and the 2021 land use map. In a period of 6 years in Wonosari District, land use change has an area of 23.90 Ha. Changes in land use occurred in all villages, but the villages that experienced the greatest changes were in Bentanagan and Bulan villages. Analysis of the pattern of distribution of changes in land use using the Average Nearest Neighbor method results from changes in land use will produce a pattern of distribution. The distribution pattern of land use change in Wonosari District is a type of clustered distribution pattern with a Nearest Neighbor Ratio (NNR) value of 0.758298 with a Z-score having a value of -3.869660 or not say 0.00. The direction of land use change that occurred in Wonosari District is east-southeast or towards the villages of Kingkang and Teloyo.
