Abstract

This study aims to analyze good corporate governance (independent commissioners, audit committees, managerial ownership, managerial ownership and institutional ownership) and company size on company performance (Tobin's Q). The population and sample in this study are retail companies and the number of samples is 12 companies. Source of data used in this research is secondary data. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Eviews, with panel data types. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that (1) Independent commissioners have a negative and significant effect on company performance. (2) the audit committee has a positive and significant effect on company performance. (3) Managerial ownership has a negative and insignificant effect on company performance. (4) Institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on company performance. (5) Company size has a negative and insignificant effect on company performance.
