Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on problematic murabahah financing in Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) NU Sejahtera Sragen and to find out the efforts made in handling problematic murabahah financing in Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is field research. The types and sources of data use primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained by interview and observation. Secondary data obtained from library research. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. Data analysis using deductive analysis. The results of this study are efforts to resolve problematic financing in murabahah contracts at BMT NU Sejahtera Masaran Sragen, among others, carried out by means of friendship, emotional approach, giving warning letters to customers, and restructuring financing, among others (restructuring, reconditioning and recheduling). Recheduling is the most effective treatment in handling problematic financing in murabahah contracts due to the Covid-19 pandemic because customers feel helped by the existence of this policy at BMT NU Sejahtera Masaran Sragen.
