Abstract

Klaten Regency has various kinds of tourism objects, ranging from natural, cultural, industrial and religious tourism objects. The emergence of various kinds of objects certainly makes competition in one tourist attraction with another. River Moon is one of the tourism objects that has the potential to be developed in Polanharjo District, Klaten Regency. River Moon tourist attraction is a tourist spot that presents natural beauty accompanied by the presence of the Pusur river in the area that can be enjoyed. This study aims to analyze the potential of River Moon tourism objects and analyze tourism development strategies and analyze domicile tourists who come to River Moon. This study uses survey methods. Data collection techniques used by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the existence of River Moon tourism object is still not widely known by the public as a natural tourism object. The potential for the River Moon tourism object seen from the facilities of this tourist attraction is still incomplete. To meet the needs of tourists to travel. River Moon tourism object analysis development strategies include: increasing and optimizing the potential and uniqueness of tourism objects, improving facilities and infrastructure to transportation and analyzing tourists who come to River Moon from anywhere.
