Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the forms of legal protection for rape victims This research uses a normative juridical approach method and uses a descriptive type of research. The data source of this study uses secondary data with 2 legal materials, namely primary legal materials in the form of the Criminal Code, Laws and Government Regulations, secondary legal materials in the form of Journals, Distersation, Repositories and the Internet. The data collection method uses the literature study method and data analysis techniques use qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that there are still many victims of rape crimes who have not received serious attention and protection for existing laws. In addition, the rights and obligations of victims that have been written in the Criminal Procedure Code and other laws and regulations have not been fully understood by the authorities or for parties who are victims of rape.
