Abstract
Self-disclosure is very important in a communication because by opening up, it makes it easier for someone to judge and also be able to share the feelings that are being felt. Communication and informatics technology that is increasingly developing self-disclosure can be done anytime and anywhere through social networks. This study aims to determine the use of the Twitter reply feature as a place for self-disclosure of young women. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interview and observation techniques to 4 informants. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that young women use the reply feature to express themselves. The use of the reply feature can make it easier for users who have a tendency to close themselves off when in real life. Teenage girls make self-disclosures on Twitter accounts using anonymous identities. Young women feel more comfortable and free when expressing their complaints on the reply feature. The topic of conversation is about the tweets of other users who have similar problems, events they are experiencing, lifestyle, K-pop, and education.
