Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social support and psychological well-being of adolescents experiencing cyberbullying on instagram. The hypothesis in this study is there is a positive relationship between social support and psychological well-being of adolescents experiencing cyberbullying on instagram. The population of this study was adolescents in Indonesia aged 13-19 who use instagram, with sample of 349 adolescents. The sample technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The method used is quantitative correlation by measuring social support scale and psychological well being scale. Data analysis using product moment analysis with SPSS 16 application. The analysis results show that there is a significant and positive relationship between social support and psychological well being of adolescents experiencing cyberbullying on instagram. The results of the analysis of social support variable with psychological well being variable showed that the higher the social support, the higher the adolescents psychological well-being.
