Abstract

This study aims to establish a relationship between anonymity and the tendency to verbally aggression social media users on students of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The hypothesis that will be proposed in this study is a positive relationship between Anonymization (anonymous) and verbal regression at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The research method used is the correlational method. Student population that has active status, Strata 1 (S1) level semester 1-8 Faculty of Psychology, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. with Purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. Based on the results of a simple regression correlation, a coefficient value (thitung) of 2.164 and a sig was obtained. (p) of 0.032 (p< 0.01), which indicates a significant association between anonymity and verbal aggression. This means that the higher the anonymity then the higher the Verbal aggression. Effective donation of anonymity with verbal aggression. That 3.3% means anonymity in the low category
