Abstract

One of the factors that influence the occurrence of stress is the absence of family support. Family support can provide physical and psychological comfort, because with this support it makes the family feel loved, cared for, valued. Family support is a combination of attitude and acceptance that can help mothers in parenting. There are several forms of family support, namely informational support, assessment support, instrumental support, and emotional support. Family support is an effort to prevent maternal stress during the Covid-19 pandemic where family support is a form of interpersonal relationship that protects a person from the effects of stress, family support can also provide clues about the mother's mental, physical and emotional health. Objective To determine the relationship between family support and the stress level of mothers of elementary school children in grades 1 and 6 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Analytical research method with a cross-sectional approach. The population is all mothers of elementary school children in grades and 6. Sampling technique total sampling data analysis using Spearman Rho. Results Family support is mostly moderate The stress level is mostly moderate There is a relationship between family support and stress levels. Conclusion. There is a relationship between family support and stress levels. With p value < 0.05.
