Abstract
Procurement of raw materials is the starting point of inventory control. Meka Group is the parent of Carfix Workshop and a spare parts distributor company that is supposed to provide the spare parts needed by Carfix Workshop. The absence of spare parts classification based on costs and categories of fast, slow and non-moving becomes a major problem for later inventory management steps. The purpose of this study was to determine the classification based on fast moving, slow moving, non moving. The results showed group A spare parts total price of Rp. 535,749,637 with the use of 2063 items, group B total price of Rp. 126,371,543 with the use of 855 items and group C a total price of Rp. 33,745,159 with the use of 567 items. Fast spare parts as many as 132 items and slow use as many as 422. Recommendations for improvement are procurement policies for supplies in the class A and Fast Moving categories.
