Abstract
The objective of this study is to describe parents’ subjective well-being who accompany their children in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of this research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were five parents of elementary school students. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing and analyzing documents. The validity of research data was carried out by data triangulation.The result of the study showed that self-esteem aspect is a great sense of responsibility as a mother to accompany her children to study despite facing many obstacles. In self-control aspect, the subject reacted negatively at the beginning of online learning. However, due to health reasons and it is a government regulation, they finally accept online learning. In the positive relationship aspect, the subject has good interactions with other people, especially with teachers and the school so that online learning mentoring activities run smoothly. On the aspect of optimism and hope, the subject hopes that the pandemic will end soon and children can go to school as usual. In conclusion, parents’ subjective well-being accompanying children in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was related to aspects of self-esteem, self-control, positive relationships, and optimism and hope.
