Abstract
Prostitution is a phenomenon that has existed for a long time in the world, Indonesia is no exception. The word prostitution can be interpreted as prostitution, and the factors behind it are usually economic and social factors. This study uses an exploratory method. This study tries to explore further about the object under study using an empirical juridical research approach (socio legal research). To analyze an incident that causes online prostitution to continue to occur on a large scale without any deterrent effect for online prostitution actors. know the most appropriate way to deal with the factors of online prostitution and prevention so that these factors do not have a greater impact on online prostitution crimes. Can be used as a reference or input for the government and related institutions in formulating strategies for handling online prostitution in the digital era. Can provide additional theoretical material and information, especially to the parties concerned. Can be used as input material and complete references that do not yet exist.
