Abstract
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion. The number of people with DM in the world is increasing. Based on the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in 2015, there were 415 million people in the world suffering from DM and it is predicted to increase to 642 million by 2040 This research is a true experimental research using a posttest only control group design where data collection is carried out at the end or after the treatment Test animals Wound care was evaluated until signs of wound healing were seen which were characterized by several indicators, namely: loss of erythema, loss of edema, loss of pus and closing of the wound edges as seen from the fibroblast tissue in the prepara. taro for gel on diabetes mellitus wounds so that it can be used as a herbal medicinal product based on the potential of plants that exist around the community so that it will increase the potential of natural resources.
