Abstract
Hair is a part of the body that has an important role, both for men and women if it is not cared for then the hair can be damaged. Hair also functions as a temperature regulator, a promoter of sweat evaporation, and a sensitive sense of touch. Phytochemical testing was carried out by identifying the content of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. The identification of alkaloids was carried out by the Bouchardat method, the Mayer method, and the Dragendorf method. Eye irritation test was carried out using the HETCAM (Hen's Egg Test-Chorio Allantoic Membrane) method, which is a mucous membrane safety test method. Viscosity measurements were carried out using a Brookfield Viscometer. The production of hibiscus leaves and apples which are quite high in Indonesia is still not comparable to the use itself, hibiscus leaves are generally only used as traditional medicine among the community, even though hibiscus leaves and apple skins are rich in benefits such as to overcome hair loss.
