Abstract
Land mass movement or also known as landslide is one of the disasters that often hit hilly areas in the wet tropics and areas that have unstable slopes. An earthquake disaster will cause the soil on the slopes of these mountains to potentially release a layer of soil that is triggered by earthquake movements by the existing gravity and the heavy load of the saturated water volume. Earthquake events are one of several factors that trigger natural landslides. The objectives of this study are 1. To analyze the distribution of landslide vulnerability of hazard due to earthquake through remote sensing in some of the Baturagung Hills, Bantul Regency. 2. Knowing the dominant factor of vulnerability to landslides due to earthquakes in some of the Baturagung Hills, Bantul Regency. The method used to support this research is secondary data analysis and data weighting. Spatial 2 data consisting of five parameters was processed by weighting the data which then obtained the final results of the study. The sampling technique in this study is stratified random sampling. The method used in data analysis is the scoring method. Based on the results of the analysis of five parameters to determine the level of vulnerability to landslides caused by earthquakes, four classifications were found, namely neglected, medium, moderate and high. At the research location, a class classification of vulnerability was obtained, where the higher the score obtained, the area has a high level of landslide susceptibility as well as the lower score means the level of vulnerability to landslides is also low. The use of residential land in Imogiri sub-district is 10.63 km2 or 20.58% of the total area of Imogiri District, which is 51.67 km2. The use of residential land in Dlingo sub-district is 9.95 km2 or 16.12% of the total area of Dlingo sub-district which has an area of 61.71 km2. While the rest is non-residential land covering an area of 40.63 km2 in Imogiri sub-district and 51.08 km2 in Dlingo sub-district.
