Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many business owners from various fields of work to implement work from home policies for their employees to comply with government regulations in reducing the spread of the virus. This new policy resulted in changes in workloads and the emergence of burnout which resulted in work-life imbalance for employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and burnout on the work-life balance (WLB) of employees who experienced work from home. The subjects of this study were 178 employees aged 18-40 years who experienced work from home, determined by accidental sampling. The research method is correlational quantitative with data collection using an online questionnaire that records participants' scores using the WLB scale, workload scale, and burnout scale. The data analysis method in this study used multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS Statistics for Windows software. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between workload and burnout with WLB (p = 0.000). Workload has a significant negative relationship with WLB, r = -0.52 (p = 0.000), as well as burnout has a significant negative relationship with WLB, r = -0.705 (p = 0.000). Therefore the higher the workload and burnout, the lower the WLB and vice versa.
