Abstract
Introduction to computers needs to be learned in school-age children, because the use of computers can help improve academic achievement. However, learning media that do not support and limited time in the learning process cause learning activities are not optimal. Therefore, we need a technology-based learning media that is relevant to student needs, easily accessible, and supports the process of teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this research is to develop an android-based computer introduction learning media. The method used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The trial was conducted on 30 seventh grade students of SMP N 3 Sawit Boyolali. Before being tested on students, the media was validated by media experts, 2 lecturers of PTI UMS, with an average V value of 0.846. The results of the reliability test obtained a value of 0.987. Validation of material experts by 2 teachers of SMP N 3 Sawit Boyolali, obtained an average V value of 0.875. The resulting reliability value is 0.848. The assessment was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to determine the usability of the application with an average score of 81.33. Before and after using learning media, the average score increased by 36%. So it can be concluded that android-based learning media is feasible to be used as a learning media for computer recognition and helps improve student understanding.
