Abstract
Introduction: Adolescence is a very important period in the span of human life, is a period of transition or transition from childhood to adulthood while stressors are physical, environmental, and social conditions which are the cause of stressful conditions. So that the changes that occur during the transition or transition from childhood to adulthood become internal factors that also influence the stress of puberty. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the description of stressors in adolescents during puberty at SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar Kartasura. Research Methods: The research method used is quantitative research with a descriptive narrative research design. The approach used in this research is probability cluster sampling. Respondents were 77 students using open-ended questions questionnaire. Research Results: The results showed that most of the respondents were at a mild level of stress as many as 65 people (84.5%). Respondents with moderate stress levels were 7 people (9%) and severe stress levels were 5 people (6.5%). The types of stressors listed include stressors related to feelings of entering puberty or adolescence, physical changes during puberty or adolescence, dissatisfaction at puberty or adolescence, friendships at school, bullying, learning difficulties, disliked subjects, unfulfilled desires , assignments given by the teacher, difficulty resting, the situation or state of the school environment. Conclusion: Changes during puberty or transition affect stress in adolescents.
