Abstract

This study is analyze one of the novels by Katherine Paterson with the title Bridge to Terabithia which was published in 1977 in the United States. The topic in this thesis aims to determine the types of bullying and their impact. This research uses psychoanalytic theory. This study uses data sources from novels and collects journals related to this novel. The method used is a qualitative method. This study focuses on the impact of bullying experienced by the main character described in the novel. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the results of bullying have been obtained, the types of bullying and their impacts using a psychoanalyst perspective.
