Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of charismatic leadership in the Miftakhul Khoir Islamic Boarding School, Prawoto Village, Sukolilo District, Pati Regency, Central Java, which later is expected to provide benefits for writers or readers, apart from being an insight, it can also be used as a science of consideration in leading or coordinating their subordinates in the world of work or work. in the lead institution. The population in this study is the main leader at the Miftakhul khoir Islamic boarding school, the students of the Islamic boarding school and also the teacher at the Islamic boarding school. The author's way of obtaining information or data is by interviewing directly to the resource person with several questions that have been prepared by the author by 5 main questions or core questions which include the leadership's efforts to use empathy to develop and communicate the vision and mission to their subordinates, the method used by the leader to convey the vision to his subordinates, the way the leader treats his subordinates, the efforts made by the leader to strengthen or create a positive image for subordinates and as well as the surrounding environment, as well as the leader's efforts to provide opportunities for his subordinates to develop or achieve an achievement.
