Abstract

The growth and development of an urban area, especially Madiun City, is influenced by various factors such as demographic trends, the dynamics of economic activity, as well as advances in science and technology, as well as transportation developments. Likewise with the existence of open space, one of the potential green open spaces that is an attraction in Madiun City is the Traffic Road Park which is located in the middle of the city and acts as a landmark or marker of an area. This traffic park is popular with visitors for sports such as jogging or cycling. Some other visitors use it to channel their hobbies of motorcycle racing and go-kart racing. In addition, visitors can also visit this place to just hangout in the style of young people by using the facilities provided. The current condition of the park is unsatisfactory in terms of safety and comfort, many facilities are less safe and less comfortable for visitors, vegetation and public facilities are not well designed from the point of view of the level of danger. Therefore, it is necessary to plan and redesign with a sustainable concept so that the preservation of the Madiun Traffic Bank area and the layout of public facilities are safe and comfortable for visitors.
