Abstract

The Waterfront Tourist Area on Tanjung Aan Beach with a Locality Approach is a tourist area in which there are several buildings such as a museum, amphitheater, reading house, market and culinary area with each attraction owned to lift the community's economy and introduce local culture. Based on some of the issues explored by the author in the area of the site to be built, the author tries to solve the problem through the design made. The author builds the Waterfront Tourist Area as a forum for the surrounding community to raise the economy and develop local culture as well as introduce it to the wider community. To achieve this goal, the target to be achieved is to obtain a concept about the Waterfront Tourist Area by formulating planning ideas, site concepts, space concepts, architectural appearance concepts, structural concepts, interior concepts/space conditioning and utility concepts as a place to accommodate the activities of the surrounding community. as well as tourists who will visit the tourist area. In line with the author's ideas and ideas, over time, hopefully the Waterfront Tourist Area on Tanjung Aan Beach can be useful and beneficial for the younger generation and the surrounding community.
