Abstract
Quality control is a crucial thing for companies to minimize the presence of defective products. The research focuses on the quality control endline in sewing. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of quality control in X, identify the factors causing defects in the J-Jill pants product in the sewing section, and determine the proposed improvement as an effort to suppress defective products. The results showed that there are factors that cause production defects at the sewing work station and the biggest cause is skipped, and the sigma value obtained is 4.15 which means the company has carried out a fairly good quality control in the sewing work station. Based on this research, the recommendations that can be given are in the improve stage, in the form of a table of proposed improvements using the Five-M Checklist approach and Kaizen based on fishbone diagram analysis. The results of this study are expected to be one of the inputs for companies in the implementation of quality control and can increase the level of company sigma.
