Abstract

The purpose of this research are to analyze and determine the factors that may affect the economic growth of Indonesia. The type of research was explanatory research with quantitative approach. Independent variables that are used in this research are Value of Indonesian Government’s External Debt, Government Expenditure and Value of Indonesia’s Exports with the dependent variable is Value of Indonesia's GDP. This research used secondary data time series from World Bank and BPS from the period 1995 - 2020. Data analysis method are multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the Value of Indonesian Government’s External Debt and Value of Indonesia’s Exports are both positive and significant. While the results of the Value of Government Expenditure are positive but not significant towards Indonesia’s GDP. By using the R2 determination test, it is known that the independent variable can affect economic growth. This study suggests that the Indonesian government needs to conduct an assessment of foreign debt, government spending and exports so that it can increase economic growth in Indonesia.
