Abstract

This study aims to describe the behavior of home industry workers and the industrial production process of woven bamboo besek pring as far as Sendangagung Village, Plaosan District, Magetan Regency. The method used in this study uses qualitative research with an ethnographic design approach. The results show that in the behavior of home industry workers to carry out traditional woven bamboo products besek pring sedapur, there are main and side workers, to provide job opportunities and divide time between farming and work. besides that, it also increases income for community workers in Sendangagung Village, Plaosan District, Magetan Regency, especially mothers, and always considers good quality raw materials, besides that it also meets all consumer needs, Promotion is carried out conventionally by word of mouth, the location of the bamboo woven craft business is very good. very strategic and the service provided is very good and friendly. The process of making woven bamboo consists of several processes, namely cutting bamboo, thinning bamboo, drying, weaving, and finishing processes. Limited capital and promotions that have not utilized technology optimally and intense competition, government programs regarding loans for MSME players are a solution to the capital constraints experienced by woven bamboo, while in promoting woven bamboo handicraft products, Besek has also studied the use of technology to facilitate the sales distribution process. product. And by creating new innovations according to consumer needs to overcome intense competition.
