Abstract

Background : Obesity or overweight is a state of accumulation of fatty tissue or a state in which there is a buildup of excess body fat so that a person's weight is far above normal. While overweight or overweight is a condition in which a person's weight exceeds body weight Purpose : Knowing the role of cycling on the decrease in waist circumference in obese patients. Method : This research is a literature review with the prisma method. Literature review data was collected by browsing published articles on the Pubmed, and Google Scholar databases. Outcome : Search results according to keywords were obtained articles from the PubMed database of 172 articles, from Google Scholar 543 articles. Number of articles after duplication checking 130 articles The number of articles eliminated according to the title is 100 articles and those that are eliminated according to the abstract 18 articles. Then the number screened was 12 artricles, then eliminated as many as 6 articles. 6 articles to be reviewed Conclusion : It can be concluded that the role of cycling to the ratio of waist circumference has been shown to be effective and significant in helping patients suffering from obesity through a decrease in waist circumference. .
